Hi I'm Kelly

I am a single parent of one and I am a Mormon :)

About Me

My name is Kelly, and I love being Mormon. I am a recent convert, formerly a Baptist. I am a single parent to a wonderful daughter, and we were able to share the same Baptism day together, which was very special. Something neither one of us will ever forget and hold dear to our hearts. I am originally from Illinois, and now living in Florida, so I may be closer to my twin sister, who is also Mormon.

Why I am a Mormon

Until I became Mormon, my life was filled with doubt, and always asked myself, "Why am I here?". I was lost without knowing which path to take. My sister, who converted to Mormon a couple of years ago, first told me about being a Latter-Day Saint. At that time, my heart, nor my mind was not open enough to understand it. Then, the Missionaries came along. By that time, I still wasn't sure of what life had to offer, I had tried so hard to understand the meaning of life, why I had struggled so much, lost, unhappy, etc. But, the missionaries were patient with me, and I finally opened my mind and my heart through their teachings, being able to finally obtain the answer I was searching for! I testify that the Book Of Mormon is true. It has made such a positive difference in mine and my daughter's life!

How I live my faith

I live my faith through kindness to others, it may be as simple to smile at someone or giving them a hug. I also live my faith by attending church and scripture study weekly. The more I read of the scriptures, singing of the hymns, or spending time with other Mormons, my faith grows stronger to help me be closer to God.
