Hi I'm Erin

I grew up in Utah. I was recently called to the Tennessee, Knoxville mission and am so excited to serve! I'm a mormon.

About Me

I want to travel the world someday to learn about all the cultures and people who live here on this Earth. I like to sing all day, everyday. I love to learn. I like to write a lot. I like to take pictures and make videos. I like to go for hikes. I love the rain. I love my family and friends. I just got my mission call! Woo!

Why I am a Mormon

There is this saying that goes, "I never said it would be easy, I only said it would be worth it." Throughout life, we have struggles, some harder than others. But, I can testify that with the gospel, my life has been made better. I know that everything The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints teaches is true and good. I have read, prayed and found for myself that the Book of Mormon is a true book. It testifies of Christ and His teachings. I know that the Prophet, Joseph Smith, was indeed a true Prophet of the Latter-days. He helped to translate the Book of Mormon and, I am so grateful for his faith, testimony, and hand in this great work. I also know that President Thomas S. Monson is a true prophet. I am grateful for the temple. For the opportunity that my family-and future family-has to be together for eternity. Eternity. I can't imagine my life without my family. Through our ups and downs, they have been there. I love them. So much. I know that Jesus Christ is our elder brother, Savior, Redeemer and He loves us, wholly. I know that we have a Heavenly Father who loves us and wants the best for us. He answers prayers; not always in the way that I want but, in the way that I need. I am so grateful for the knowledge and joy the gospel brings. Like others, I've made my mistakes, but, I know with His help, I can repent and He will still love me. All I have to do is strive to be my best. I'm excited to serve a mission for the greatest cause I can think of, that is, helping and serving my brothers and sisters. It is also helping them know, or remember, that we are all children of a Heavenly Father who loves us. I love being a Mormon. I say these things, in the name of Jesus Christ, amen.

How I live my faith

I am a team-teacher for the 14-15 year old Sunday School and I love it! It is a bit intimidating but, they are sweet kids and they have helped me to learn so much more from the scriptures. They have wonderful testimonies and I hope they know how much they are loved. My team-teacher is also an amazing Sister in my ward. She's showed me the importance of being organized and prepared. They are helping me be prepared for my mission and for life in general. They are each such inspirations.
