Hi I'm Taylor

I laugh too much, eat too much ice cream, but love living life and everything it brings. And I'm a mormon.

About Me

I'm from the beautiful state of Washington, born and raised and proud of it. I absolutely love sports and being active. I did soccer and track throughout high school and continued track as I went on to BYU. I completed 2 years at Brigham Young University and then differed my enrollment to serve an 18 month mission for our church in Piracicaba Brazil. After my mission I plan to finish my education at BYU, majoring in Exercise Science and continue on to Physical Therapy school.

Why I am a Mormon

There are many reasons as to why I am a Mormon, but the main being because it brings peace and joy into my life. I was raised in this church as a Mormon and have known it my entire life. But throughout my years, I have gained my own understanding and testimony in the truthfulness of this gospel. Being a Mormon has provided me opportunities of happiness and peace that can only be found and offered through this church. It has given me guidelines and freedom to live a truly fulfilling life. Through it, I have been able to come to know my Savior and more fully understand His love for us individually. I have been able to learn my purpose in this life and that I am a loved daughter of God. This church has taught me how to recognize and utilize my talents and abilities that I have been blessed with to help and serve those around me. Everything that this church offers has been a blessing in my life, and without it, I would be lost. This church is my family and has always provided me with direction, comfort, and a pure, lasting happiness. I love being Mormon and know with all my heart that this is a true church by the love, peace, and joy I have experienced by being apart of it.

How I live my faith

I try each day to live by my faith in this gospel and through my Savior's example. A wonderful opportunity I have had to help me live my faith better each day has been through the several callings in our church which I've participated in and held. Some include being president of the young women's organization, pianist, teacher over a Sunday School class for 3-5 year-olds, and a committee member for the Humanitarian Council. Each of these opportunities has taught me more about who I am and how I can contribute my time and efforts to those around me and to society as a whole. I have been given the wonderful chance to serve a mission for our church where I can teach and share with others about the blessings and joy that this gospel brings.
