Hi I'm Sierra

I have been called to serve in the Tennessee Nashville Mission. I love the Gospel with my whole heart. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm about to serve a mission and I'm so excited because I've wanted to do something like this my whole life. Serving the Lord has always been a dream of mine and it's scary that I'm about to live that dream. But I'm more excited then scared, in my heart I know that this is what I'm supposed to be preparing for and Heavenly Father wants my life to go in this direction.

Why I am a Mormon

Nobody's perfect but this Gospel is. I was raised in this church but even being raised in it you have to gain your own personal testimony of it. You can't go off of what your parents have for the rest of your life. I gained my testimony by experiencing the real world and living in it. My faith was challenged when I lived away from home by myself with people who weren't members and didn't believe in the same things I did. I realized that to not fall away I had to stick to what I believed in and what I'd been taught. I also believe in prayer, I'm far from perfect and I've only been praying, day and night for about a year. I know that it makes my day go much smoother and I ask Him all the time to listen to my heart because I don't always know what to say. Miracles do happen. Daily. Always take the time to recognize His hand in your life. It helps me truly know that He loves me and He's there for me.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by praying day and night and always having a prayer in my heart. I talk to God often so that He stays with me always. I read my Book of Mormon every night; no I've never read the Bible all the way through. But to me I'm living the Gospel the way I believe I should be. I attend a missionary preparation class once a week also so I can keep strengthening my testimony of this church. I often read past General Conference talks and what the living prophets tell us today. They always have good reminders that the Lord loves us, He always wants the best for us. All these little things build my faith and my testimony.
