Hi I'm Rebecca Price

I love the outdoors, my family, and art. I am the second of five girls. I am a mormon.

About Me

I grew up in a small town in Ohio on the shore of Lake Erie. I love swimming, playing tennis, and hiking through the woods with my dogs. Art is another love of mine. I am a student at BYU-Idaho. I served for 18 months as a missionary in the Utah Salt Lake City Temple Square Mission, and a quarter of that time in the Idaho Pocatello Mission. My family is made up of my parents, four sisters, and two dogs.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents raised me in the church. My mother has been a member all of her life, but my father was Catholic and did not join the church until several years after he married my mother. Because my father joined the church and prepared to enter the temple, I am sealed to my parents for time and all eternity. I am so grateful that I will be with my family even after death. I am a Mormon because I know the gospel to be true, because I prayed and asked God. Joseph Smith translated The Book of Mormon through the power of God and restored the gospel to this earth. I grew up in the church so I grew up believing it and living it. Still, I had my own experiences that assured me that I am in the right place and that it's true. We all face trials and challenges in life. Through my trials my diligent parents taught me that the Lord is always there to comfort me. I am a Mormon because I know that God has called a Prophet to lead His church in our day. I know that the current Prophet of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Thomas S. Monson, has been called of God to lead and guide us in these latter days. I am a Mormon because I know that families can be together forever, that there is a life after death, and that because Christ lives we will all live again too.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying my best to follow the Saviors example and invite others to do the same.
