Hi I'm Jeff

Im a National Champion Rugby Player and I am a Mormon

About Me

I am 23. I have had a lot of experiences that have helped me develop a greater love and appreciation for my savior Jesus Christ, He truly is a healer of souls. I decided to serve a mission, (and was called to serve in Portland, OR.) from 2013-2015, because I love my Savior and am grateful for the opportunity that He afforded me through His Atonement to have peace in my life. I want to share that same love Christ has for me with everyone I meet. This is so they can have that same relationship with my Redeemer that I have developed. The Lord will never forget us. Neither will He fail us when we need Him most. As we turn to Jesus Christ, we have His promise that He always will be with us. Of this I can testify of.

Why I am a Mormon

I became a Mormon by reading the Book of Mormon and finding that it is indeed another testament of Jesus Christ. It goes right along side the Bible as a testament that Jesus Christ is our Savior and Redeemer. He taught that through faith, repenting, becoming baptized both by water and the spirit (John 3:5), we can have everlasting life. I am a Mormon because I accepted the invitation given to all men to read and pray sincerely to know "is the Book of Mormon true". God gave me an answer as He does all men who ask that question with real intent. This is God's church, He let me know, and He can let you know too, all you have to do is ask.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by actively seeking opportunities to share my talents and serve others. I help with the Youth in my area, and do various activities with them. I try and do the best I can to be an example of the Savior and see others around me as He would. I am currently serving a mission for the Lord to help spread the news that His church has again been restored to the Earth!

What is a “testimony” that Mormons speak of?

A testimony is a spiritual witness given to an individual by the Holy Ghost. The foundation of a Mormon’s testimony is the knowledge that Heavenly Father lives and loves us; that Jesus Christ lives, that He is the Son of God, and that He carried out the infinite Atonement; that Joseph Smith is a prophet, which God called to restore Jesus Christ’s church to the earth; that we are led today by a living prophet; and that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the Savior’s Church restored on the earth today.
