Hi I'm Brady Hession

Born and raised in Salt Lake City and love it!

About Me

I was born and raised in an LDS house, but we were pretty inactive. The thing that really helped my come back was some great youth leaders and all the amazing experiences I had being a scout. To me, one of my greatest accomplishments is achieving the rank of an Eagle Scout. I never could have done that without the love and support of my friends and leaders. During my inactivity I fell into the idea that God may or may not exist. That is where my Agnosticism comes from. I found myself being very depressed thinking that this life was all there is, and when I started to go to scouts and began to pray again, it was amazing the assurance I received that there is more than just this life. I have been called to serve in the Arizona Tempe mission and I report to the MTC on June 5th 2013. My hobbies are varied, but I love to golf, hike, rock climb, camp, travel, work out, I love a relaxing afternoon with good company watching a great show or playing a great video game, I love a great book, I play piano (though I am not very good haha), and I love to cook.

Why I am a Mormon

After my return to activity, I realized just how amazing Gods plan really is. The more I study and the more I learn, the more and more I feel closer to him. I am a Mormon because I know that Christ set up his church while he was here preforming his ministry, but that church was lost after his death and the subsequent death of the apostles. But, because we have a loving Father in Heaven, he restored that church to bless his children on earth again. I pray that if you read this, invite the missionaries into your home and listen to the things they say...it will bless you and your families lives more than I can tell you in this short little box.

How I live my faith

Serving a mission was the best choice I have ever made. The opportunity I have to go out and dedicate all my time to helping other people is something I jumped at the chance to do. To me, service is the most important thing we can do on this earth. Your religion doesn't matter, all that matters is that everyone is trying to help everyone else. However, the reason we are out trying to "convert" people, is simply because we know how happy it can make them.
