Hi I'm Sister Andersen

I am an artist, I love being outdoors, I am a missionary, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the youngest of three kids. I lived in Utah until I was twelve, then we moved to the beautiful part of Idaho. I've always been a farm/outdoors girl, and now my family owned a hunting/camping guide service. I love horses, drawing, and making music slideshows. but most of all, I love the gospel of Jesus Christ and the Book of Mormon: another Testament of Jesus Christ. If I did not have this religion in my life, I know I would not be in a good place. It's not just a belief to me, but a way of life. I love my Heavenly Father (God) and I know he loves me. I strive to live the way that is pleasing to Him because it truly does make me feel good. I am currently serving a mission in Texas Houston.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a Mormon all my life, and I love it. I love the peace the word of God, our Heavenly Father, brings to us as a people and as individuals. I am on a Mission to give others an opportunity to receive the joyous peace that I have come to know.

How I live my faith

I live my faith the best I can. I pray to help my faith become stronger, and I do my best to live my life in harmony with Christ's teachings.

Who wrote the Book of Mormon?

Sister Andersen
The Book of Mormon was written by prophets of that time, like the Holy Bible. It is a companion, to go hand in hand. It testifies, and is a second Witness of Jesus Christ. The Book of Mormon, also like the Bible, is a collection of true stories of people striving to follow God. Show more Show less

Why is family so important to Mormons?

Sister Andersen
The first thing we come to know in our lives is our family. We learn to love, teach, serve, and grow. We may have some sad and difficult times, but families are made to be there to help and support you no matter what. God is there too. God is our Heavenly Father, and He understands you like no other. You are also a part of His family. Families, when they live righteously, grow closer and stronger. This builds a place of support and safety. A place you can always turn to when it's dark and stormy everywhere else. Show more Show less
