Hi I'm Thomas Colton

I grew up just outside of D.C. in Maryland. I'm a college student at Brigham Young University. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up on the east coast with very few other Mormons playing football and lacrosse. I Love sports and played lacrosse competitively all of high school. I am an eagle scout and enjoy hiking and other outdoor activities and love socializing with friends. I am currently at Brigham Young University and about to leave for my mission to Novosibirsk, Russia.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have a firm and steadfast testimony in Christ as my savior and in his atonement for the sins of the world. I am a Mormon because I have seen the positive effects it has on family members and friends. I am a Mormon because I have read the Book of Mormon and felt the Holy Ghost testify to me of it's truth and felt it testify to me that this gospel is true.

How I live my faith

Back in Utah I served as a councilor in the elders quorum presidency and helped keep all our members involved with the quorum and tried to help them grow spiritually. As of now I am just volunteering wherever my ward needs help for the month I am home and will then be a missionary for the next two years.
