Hi I'm Ryan

I'm an Air Force brat, a poor collage student, a Communications major, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the eldest brother in a family of seven. For most of my life my family moved around almost every two to four years because my Dad was in the United States Air Force. We have lived in Alabama, Texas, Florida, Mississippi, Southern Virginia, Illinois, Washington DC and then back to Mississippi. Right now I am attending college in Idaho. I am a Communication major and I hope to get into advertising one day. I love ballroom dancing, cooking, playing Ultimate Frisbee, and mountain hiking.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in this Church and the gospel and I enjoyed it very much but when I got older I had to make the choice to be a Mormon myself, not just because my parents wanted me to be one. So I took my study of this church much more seriously, reading the scriptures and praying powerfully. I was asking God if this was the right place for me and if this was the path that He wanted me to travel. As I prayed and studied I began to appreciate the blessings that I had always take for granted when it came to the church. As I meditated on this and the scriptures I felt that I received an answer from God that this is the right place for me. I am so glad to be a member of this Church and to have that knowledge that I made that choice on my own. I am so grateful that God has blessed me for my choice.

How I live my faith

In my community I was asked to supervise the scripture study school we have each Sunday. I served a two year mission sharing the gospel and offering service. I participate in family prayer and scripture study. I help support the needy and offer service in my community.
