Hi I'm Kelsey

I have been called to serve a mission to the Philippines. I am so happy to share with the world that yes I am a Mormon.

About Me

I went from being a full-time student to a full-time missionary. I have already learned so much more in a short while from my mission and I know this knowledge will help me throughout my life. In my pre-missionary life I worked with a group of special needs women who I adore. They taught me to love life and appreciate the little miracles. Back home, I have a family supporting me and I love to hear about my little brother and sister's school and activities. My hobbies right now include studying, studying, and more studying. I love sports and the outdoors!

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in an LDS household and was baptized when I was 8 years old. I remember it being my choice. I loved how good I felt at church sitting with my family knowing that we would be together forever. However conversion is a lifelong process. As a youth, the youth programs of the LDS church helped me grow as a person and helped me grow closer to Christ. As a young adult, some personal things happened in my family that caused me to really ask myself, Why am I a Mormon? As I relied on Christ to help me through this trying time, I found keeping His commandments blessed my family. Being a Mormon brings me happiness because my Savior has never left me alone and I know He has provided a way for me to be eternally happy with Him in His kingdom.

How I live my faith

I feel religion is more than just a Sunday experience. I strive every day to show my love for my Savior by studying my scriptures and praying to my Heavenly Father. Right now I am serving a full-time 18 month mission to the Philippines. My whole day is spent studying and learning and teaching the doctrine of Jesus Christ. The most important part of living my faith is doing my best to love everyone the way Jesus Christ does and serving my fellow men.
