Hi I'm Wilford Woodruff Crockett VI

Born and raised in Tacoma, Washington. I love the rain. Know American Sign Language. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

18 years old. I love the outdoors and try to be outside as much as I can rain or shine. Which is a lot of rain in the Pacific Northwest. I'm definitely a quite person always kind of in the back ground noise in public situations or at school. I don't try to hard to stand out either. Just do me and let others go about their own business. I also feel that knowledge is power so I'm always trying to learn new miscellaneous topics and subjects to be able to talk about.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because it's the only church with all the restored, not reformed, ordinances and keys of Jesus Christ's church that he established during his mortal ministry. I continue to follow his gospel for countless reasons but the few I want to share are reasons that have shaped who I am and who I want to become. Being Mormon has brought so much peace to my soul, my inexperienced 18 year old who has not even left the house yet, soul. I've had family members die and know, without thinking, that they are still alive. Pain and anguish of my body from physical illness and injury relieved from the power of the Priesthood and faith on Christ. Also pain of the soul, eternal pain, that has come from sins and shortcoming relived, forgiven, and forgotten because of the atonement and love Christ has for me. And he has the same love for YOU.

How I live my faith

I haven't always been the most stalwart member but the Lord has had much faith in me in giving me many different leadership positions or "callings" inside my classes or "quorums" while growing up. To answer how I live my faith I would put the simple answer of personal prayer and scripture study as the corner stone and key to living, maintaining, and growing my faith in Jesus Christ and his true and restored gospel. Without personal prayer and scripture study, true scripture study with a pure heart and honest intent, no one would be able to grow in faith, even if that faith be small or large. It's my humble and solemn testimony that if you want to come and know, truly know Jesus Christ then pray with a sincere heart and study his teachings through the scriptures -- Both Book of Mormon and Bible.
