Hi I'm Bailey, Sterling Yutaka

I was born in Saga, Japan in 1993. I am half-Japanese and half-American.

About Me

I grew up in Japan. I spent pretty normal life so far, when I was 12, my friend introduced me to swimming. Since then, I enjoy swimming for exercise or just to have fun. I have 5 siblings and I'm 3rd oldest. I was the crazy middle child, I feel so bad for my mom. I am little bit a lazy person, I find myself sitting and having grazing eyes quite often.

Why I am a Mormon

Because I grew up in this church, I have been always a part of this church. Just as everyone knows, when you become a teenager, you start acting different (not necessarily bad). I off course had that "dark age" (I hope it's over now), but the time I graduated high school, I was little curious about my future, just a little bit. With strong supports from my friends and families, I chose to go on a mission and now I am here. It has been such a great blessing to me to get to serve. Deeply inside of me I had testimony of this church growing up. And so many others helped me realize that I was ignoring my feeling. I knew this was true and now with a confident I can say "I'm gonna stick to this even till the end." I'll mention my appreciation to all. And that's why.

How I live my faith

I go to church every week, attend meetings as much as I can (even though I'm lazy). Right now, I'm a full time missionary serving in San Jose California mission, so I guess how I live my faith is literally how I live everyday now. As missionaries, we talk and invite everyone to come unto Christ, I personally love this opportunity to serve the Lord.
