Hi I'm Michael

I'm a student. I play basketball. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to play basketball! I play as often as I can, I love pretty much all other sports as well. I enjoy meeting and talking to new people! I am the youngest of seven children, five brothers and one sister.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know that it is the true gospel. I know that this church is the only way to have actual happiness in this world. I know the Savior gave his life for me and for everyone, I know he loves me and I know that he wants to help me. I also know the Book of Mormon to be the word of God and that Joseph Smith was the prophet of the Restoration of the church. I know because I have read the Book of Mormon and asked Heavenly Father if it is true. He has answered me through the Holy Ghost, through the good feeling that he brings.

How I live my faith

I do my best to serve others in my community and I attend church every week. I try to read my scriptures and pray everyday. I try to be happy all of the time and try to not lose my temper. It can be a battle sometimes but I think of what the Savior would do and that settles me down. I do home-teaching with my dad every month and I give the message every-other month.

Why do Mormon missionaries proselyte?

Missionaries volunteer to proselyte because they want other people to know of the joy and the comfort that comes from being a member of the Mormon church; to help others gain a closer relationship to Christ. Show more Show less
