Hi I'm Zachary

I grew up in/around Okotoks Alberta, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born into the church and a wonderful family. I love playing sports, basketball is my favorite. I love spending as much time in the outdoors and in the mountains fishing and hiking with my family.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ exist, and I want to continuously strive to be like them so one day I can return to live with them in heaven and be able to stand face to face with God and know that I chose the right paths throughout life and that at every turn of the way I was always striving to follow Jesus' example and help others in any way I could. Also I am thankful that I have continued to follow the gospel because it has made me a happy caring person through always striving to follow Jesus Christ's example from when he lived on this earth. Friends and strangers always comment on how nice I am or how I go the extra mile to help someone out, and this brings me comfort and peace knowing that I am doing what my Heavenly Father wants me to do. I also am thankful I have chosen to be Mormon because of the commandments. Living the word of wisdom has kept me strong and healthy so I can go out and enjoy all that god has given us, whether it is a trip with the family into the mountains or a game of basketball with friends. I am just so thankful that I have been given the opportunity to live on this wonderful earth and be a part of my family and I know the gospel has helped keep us together and has helped and blessed our family through struggling times.

How I live my faith

I live my faith through treating others with kindness, whether they are other Mormons or strangers on the street. Also by choosing to serve a full time mission I have set an example for the younger children in my ward, that they will hopefully follow and one day choose to serve the lord like I am. I also live my faith through performing service projects throughout our town. Whether it is cleaning the river, helping someone move, shoveling a strangers walk after a snowfall, or any little act service that helps someone out.
