Hi I'm Doc

I grew up in Brigham City, Utah. I live for adventure and learning new things. I love History. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am an 18 year old preparing to serve a mission. My hobbies include playing tennis, auto-tech, woodworking, dating, hiking, jeeping, shooting, wilderness survival, cross-country skiing, reading, rowing, whitewater rafting, horseback riding, and cooking. I play the piano, bagpipes, and saxophone. I train by doing weightlifting workouts, running, swimming, and stretching. I am currently a college student and just finished my first year. I have went on a pioneer reenactment handcart trek at Martin's Cove Wyoming, climbed Angel's Landing in Zion National Park, jumped off the rock at Wiamea Bay Hawaii, hiked through the Redwood Forest, jumped into Avalanche Lake at Glacier National Park, have river rafted down the Cabarton Run on the North Payette River, and visited the Nauvoo Temple.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a Mormon my whole life. I follow Jesus Christ's gospel because I feel and know it is true. Over and over again, I continue to have experiences which renew and strengthen my faith. Some experiences are simpler than others but even these can strengthen my faith. I find that by keeping a journal of what I am grateful for and the "tender mercies" (experiences when I am reminded about Heavenly Father's love) I live a happier more spiritually rich life.

How I live my faith

I play the piano for my church by playing the hymns for some of our meetings and learn piano solos and duets to bring the spirit into sacrament meeting.
