Hi I'm Jake Jensen

I am serving a mission in the Long Beach California Mission. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am 20 years old and I am serving a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I just completed my first year of college at Brigham Young University in Provo Utah. I loved going to school at BYU, it was the best experience in my life. It had everything I needed, the mountains, skiing, friends and family that are strong in the church, an amazing education, and a very strong spirit. I love being in the outdoors and being as active as I can.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a Mormon all of my life, but my true personal conversion happened this past year while studying at BYU. A personal conversion is where one really starts to be converted to gospel and strives daily to obey God's commandments, work for progression in the gospel, and really believe and act in the way that reflects being a Mormon. I love this gospel and I continue to follow it because I feel the truthfulness in the gospel in my heart every day. I see the blessings from God in my life every day and I could not live without this gospel. I believe the Book of Mormon to be the word of God. I believe that Joseph Smith restored the gospel on the Earth in these Latter Days, I believe that Thomas S. Monson is the living prophet on the earth today. I know that this is the truest church on the earth today. This is my testimony.

How I live my faith

My most recent calling is being called as a missionary. This is the best example to show how I live my faith. Serving is a commandment from God, and I am very ready for my next two years doing nothing but service to my father in heaven. I am serving a mission to show obedience and love for my heavenly father. I am also serving because I have been blessed in my life and it is only right for me to give back and serve.
