Hi I'm Megan

I'm an art student. I'm going on a mission to Korea. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a college student studying studio art. I am working to get my teacher's license and I minored in Spanish. I love to create things. My favorite medium is printmaking, but I also love ceramics, installation art and mixed media. It's my dream to have a studio where I can create my own work and have workshops to teach other people about art. I love to travel and see the world and different cultures. I think that languages are incredibly interesting. I love my family and friends, good food and the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I love my Savior Jesus Christ and I know that this is His gospel on the earth today. I have grown up in the church and seen the blessings that come from living righteously and according the the Lord's commandments. Living the gospel of Jesus Christ makes me happy and helps me to be the best person that I can be. I am so thankful for the Gospel of Jesus Christ in my life. I know it is true. I am grateful for the opportunity that I have to share it with people around the world. It has been sweet to me ever since I received my missionary call to think of those people that I am going to teach and how their lives will be so blessed by the knowledge that they have a Savior, Jesus Christ, who loves them. That they are children of God who loves them and has a plan for them. That they can overcome their weaknesses and become perfect eventually through Christ and His atonement. That the priesthood has been restored to the Earth and what is bound on Earth can be bound in heaven. That families are eternal and they can be sealed to their families for forever. That this life is not the only one, but it is a time to exercise faith, follow God’s commandments and prepare to return to Him. That there is modern-day revelation through the Prophet Thomas S. Monson. That the Book of Mormon can help to guide their lives and answer their questions.

How I live my faith

I attend my student ward with people that are similar in age to me and I love it there because we all are happy to serve one another. I helped to plan some events for our congregation and help others in their callings. I have helped to teach classes on preparing to be a missionary for our church and to enter the temple. I visit with other women in our congregation and help them and offer to serve them in any way. I am serving a mission for the church in Korea for 18 months and will be teaching the people there about the gospel of Jesus Christ and how it will bless their lives.
