Hi I'm Kerri!

I am from New Mexico and I am 21 years old. I am serving in the California Sacramento Mission! I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I am from New Mexico, but I have moved around a lot in my life since I was born. I am 20 years old and the oldest of three girls! My mom and sisters and I were all baptized when we were eight years old by my great- grandfather, but we became in-active. My dad was baptized in 2010, and we were sealed as an eternal family in the Albuquerque, New Mexico Temple in 2011! I am currently serving a full time mission in the California Sacramento Mission, and I have been out since June 19, 2013!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I love knowing that I can be with my family for all eternity. Death is not the end and knowing that there is so much more after this life is so freeing.

How I live my faith

Before I came out on my mission, I lived my faith by attending church every Sunday and fulfilling the duties of my calling with the young women in my ward at home. I live my faith now by always trying to share the gospel with everyone, and helping others to come unto Christ. And reading the scriptures every day to strengthen my knowledge and testimony of the Restored Gospel!

What is being a Mormon like?

Being a Mormon is the best! For me personally, my religion has helped me to know of the love my Heavenly Father and Savior Jesus Christ have for me. It has also helped me to know more of the purpose that my Heavenly Father has for me on this Earth. I am comforted by knowing that even though I am going to go through trials, and I will be tested, I can always over come anything because The Lord does not give any of His children a commandment that they cannot achieve. I am also comforted in knowing that I can be with my family for eternity even after death. Show more Show less
