Hi I'm Michael Wilson

I love to play basketball, I'm 18 years old, I am a Missionary in the Natal Brazil mission 13-15, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My Name is Michael Wilson. I am a recent graduate of high school. I'm currently serving a mission in Brazil 2013-15. I play Basketball its my favorite sport. I played football and basketball throughout high school. I love my savior Jesus Cristo and I love to hangout with my family and my friends. I want to chose a career as a Police Officer. That's what I'm thinking of after my mission and of course after I come home from college. I'm a convert for about 4 years now 6 when I get home. I was introduced by the missionaries and taught the gospel through them and now I'm a missionary. They knocked on my door and with my moms permission I let them in. :D I was the only one to show interest and that sat down to listen to the Elders. Soon after I was baptized and was the only one out of my family to do so. A few years later I got to baptize my little sister Krystal into the church and it was amazing. Her and I are still the only members in our family but I have hope that one day the rest will join. I love this church and I know that it is true. I love the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Why I am a Mormon

Wow its a interesting question. I'm a Mormon because I believe in the principles that the gospel teaches. I know them to be true. I'm a Mormon because it brings noting but happiness to my life. I know that this church is the true church of our savior Jesus Christ. And it draws me nearer to Heavenly Father and I have never felt his love more then when I became a member of his restored gospel. I know my Pai Celestrial is well pleased with my decision to join his church. And as I have lived the gospel, my relationship with my Father in Heaven has grown into something undecidable. And that's why I'm a Mormon. For the peace and joy it brings to my life. And that one day I can raise a family and know that the gospel will bless my family as I know now that this gospel can bless families forever.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by being a disciple of Christ. As a convert of the church I have grown a love for my fellow brothers and sisters. And as the scriptures say when you're in the service of your fellow men you're in the service of God. I live my faith in my everyday actions and my sayings. As a convert I can really see the difference between now and as not a member of the church. That's how I live my faith as a member of the church and of my testimony of Jesus Christ. I know he lives and loves me. I know that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is the true and restored gospel and church on earth today.

What will the Mormon missionaries talk about when they visit my home?

Michael Wilson
