Hi I'm Jason

I from the state of Washington. I love playing guitar. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I am a 19 year old member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I love to play the guitar and listen to music. I have gone to one semester of college at Brigham Young University-Idaho. After that semester of college I got my mission call to the Scotland/Ireland Mission. I left June 12th, 2013. I am currently serving my mission and am having a great time serving the people here.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have seen the blessing firsthand that come from living the teachings of the Mormon Church. Those teachings are the gospel of Jesus Christ. The Gospel of Jesus Christ brings peace and joy into our lives like no worldly source can. Through times of sorrow and when our patience is tested we can rely on our Savior Jesus Christ to pull us through to the end. I know we are each children of a Loving Heavenly Father who cares for each on of us. Because he cares so much he sent his Only Begotten Son to take upon him the sins of this world that we could one day enter into his presence again. I know that the Book of mormon testifies of the divinity of Jesus Christ and his mission and will bring us closer to god than any other book. I am Grateful to be a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I try my best to live each day in a way that will make our Savior Jesus Christ happy wether that's studying hard in school or serving others at work, home, or at church. I have taken the challenge that is in the Book of Mormon from the Prophet King Benjamin. In one of his final addresses to his people he said "...now if you believe all these things see that ye do them." (Mosiah 4:10) As a missionary of the church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints I have the incredible opportunity to serve the lord full time and show that I am willing to follow him. Over time I have seen first hand how striving to follow Christ's example has been an anchor to my soul. That has kept me steadfast, always abounding in good works amidst all different experiences. I am grateful for the faith that I do have and hope by earnestly studying and stretching myself that I can increase that faith.
