Hi I'm Brooklyn

I am a Mormon!

About Me

I just finished up my freshman year of college and now I'm serving a full time mission in Argentina! I love to run, it is one of my passions. I ran in high school and now I run races just to keep life interesting. I love to read, and I am an avid Harry Potter fan! I love playing the piano and have played since I was seven years old. I love the gospel and love living the gospel. It makes my life happy!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because it makes me happy. When I look around me outside and just at the world in general I feel so blessed. I can feel my Heavenly Father's love for me in so many aspects of my life. He always has my best interest at heart and I have witnessed that throughout my life. I was blessed to be raised in the church. As a result, gaining a testimony was a gradual process for me. But, since I felt the Holy Ghost witness to me that the Book of Mormon is true, and really my whole life, I have been trying to draw closer to my Heavenly Father and to gain a greater testimony of him. I know this is his true church and that through living the principles and doctrines we find in the church we will be blessed. Ultimately I am a Mormon because I know that as I follow the plan of happiness my Father has laid out for me I WILL return to his presence.

How I live my faith

Right now I am living my faith by serving a full time mission. I decided to serve a mission because I want other people to know the same joy and happiness I know because of the gospel. Serving a full time mission means devoting all of my time to the Lord for 18 months of my life. I know that this service will bring me closer to my Heavenly Father. More than that I have the chance to help the Lord with his great work and purpose "to bring to pass the immortality and eternal life of man" (Moses 1:39).
