I grew up in Utah. I'm a performer, singer and dancer. I love traveling and serving others. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently an LDS Missionary serving in the Sydney, Australia North mission. I love the Lord and love helping people have a better and happier life! I know that through Jesus Christ's Atonement we have the opportunity to be forgiven of any sin, and that we in turn can progress more and more everyday with the knowledge that we can be with our families forever. Even past death... I love singing and dancing. When I perform I feel like I'm bringing joy to other's lives through my performance. I believe life is something to enjoy not to endure. I come from divorced parents, but that doesn't stop me from being happy. I believe every trial I go through helps me become stronger and better. This scripture is what helps me overcome any trial that comes to my life... D&C 78:17-19.

Why I am a Mormon

Being born into the LDS church I immediately started living the Mormon ways. It wasn't until I was eight years old where I decided for myself to be a part of the church. My full conversion happened when I was a teenager and my parents divorced. If I did not have the Gospel in my life I would have taken my parents divorce more harder than I did. The gospel of Jesus Christ was my rock and foundation to look forward with great faith at a brighter future. The scriptures and the Prophet's words were my strength. At that time in my life was when I realized how much the Gospel helps me. I will forever stay strong to my faith.

How I live my faith

I live my faith best by being an example. Many people may label themselves as a certain religion, but do they really live it? By obeying the laws of God and standards of the Church I myself become a better person and I can see the good influence I have on other's around me. It may not be much in my eyes, but I know it makes a difference. No matter how hard, I know that God knows best and if I follow him everything will be okay and I will be blessed. I feel like a lot of people who say their faithful need to show it by their works, if they're not constantly progressing with striving to live the doctrines of their church, how on earth can you reach your full potential if you're not DOING.

What is the difference between attending church and the temple?

Attending Church is where we go to worship, where we go to spiritually grow and learn. Anyone and everyone is invited to attend. Attending church is the best way to really understand how Mormon's "work." The Temple is a sacred place where worthy members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (Mormons) enter. They perform sacred ordinances in the temple for themselves and others to gain eternal blessings. (Marriage and baptisms for the dead are the two main acts done in the Temple.) The Temple is sacred and when entered you enter into a place of reverenge. It's a privilege, blessing and a joy to enter into any of God's temples. Show more Show less

Why was a Restoration of the Gospel needed? Haven’t we always had the Bible?

When Jesus Christ was on the Earth he established His church, after he died, people started to deny his teachings and "willfully rebel" the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Soon the people started to become so wicked that when all of the Apostles of Christ were killed there were little or no people who knew the real truth of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. There were many people who would transform or adjust the Gospel to make it something of their own. Many truths were taken away or distorted. This was called the Great Apostasy, where many Protestant reformations were taking place and many other churches being built up because of Pride or for the gain of the world. There were so many changes after Christ died that soon people didn't know what truth was or where to find it. People could no longer trust the Bible for fear that it wasn't correct. After reading James 1:5, and questioning which church to join, Joseph Smith went and asked God which of the different sects was right... an answer to his question was to join none, for none of the church's had the full Gospel of Jesus Christ. Because of Joseph's Faith he brought again the Restoration of Jesus Christ's Church to the Earth. Show more Show less
