Hi I'm Michelle

I've lived in Northern California all my life. I love to be active and hang out with my hubby and kids! I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I am married and have 3 (almost 4) beautiful children! I received my Bachelor's Degree after I had two children; that was tough but so glad I finished. I stay home with my kids and love it, most of the time! ;) I love to be outdoors, especially the beach whenever we get the chance. I love to travel with my husband and my children; the Caribbean, Hawaii, Europe, Mexico! Creating memories that will last a lifetime is important to me. When I am in the mood, I love to cook and bake. I always love to just sit and watch a good movie, that rarely happens though. I played all kinds of sports growing up, that was my life. I especially love volleyball and basketball.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have felt the power and the influence of the Holy Ghost testify to me that this Church, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, is true! I know that my Heavenly Father, and Savior Jesus Christ, Love me and know who I am. That has always been a huge blessing in my life, knowing that there is always someone there for me. I am never alone. Our Heavenly Father loves us and wants us to be happy. I know that as I make good choices, that I will be blessed. I know that if I make a mistake, I can repent. I know that Jesus Christ suffered for my sins and made it possible for me and you to be forgiven and to return to live with him and Heavenly Father again! I know that Families are Forever! I know that when we are sealed in the Holy Temples, that marriage and family relationships will continue after we die. What a blessing that has been to me to know that I/we can see our family members again after they or we pass from this life. I love being a Mormon! It is not just a Sunday thing; it is an everyday lifestyle. I'm a Mormon because following the teachings of Jesus makes me happy!

How I live my faith

For me, living my faith day to day is really important. Some days are harder than others but I have always strived to just be obedient. I have found that as I have done so, my Heavenly Father blesses me with so much more than I feel I deserve. I have served in the youth with the young women and with the primary age children (5-11). I am currently teaching the 8/9 year olds and absolutely love it! I learn a lot from these children and am thankful that I am able to feel the presence of the Holy Ghost during our lessons. I also know that as I attend the temple regularly, every month, my testimony is strengthened and it is a place where I am able to "recharge" my spiritual batteries. I love the temple and am so thankful we have one so close.
