Hi I'm Lexie Sims

I'm just a girl trying to follow my savior to the best of my abilities. I am a full time missionary and I'm a Mormon :)

About Me

I graduated from high school, then went on to study nursing in college before I decided to serve a full time mission for my church. I am currently serving in the Missouri, St. Louis mission, everything I am, I owe to the gospel and collectively, to my mission.

Why I am a Mormon

I didn't grow up in any religious way. I always longed for something. I always felt a void in my life. When I met with the missionaries for the first time and they started pouring out truths, I couldn't help but become almost obsessed and mesmerized by the spirit and how right it felt. I knew from the moment I decided to get baptized that the gospel was the void I'd been missing my whole life. I truly believe I was prepared to accept the gospel in my life at the tender age of 18. I could not have made a better decision in my life. It was the first thing that gave this confused, teenage "me" purpose. I felt like I had a place. I was special to my Father in Heaven. This gospel gave me everything I've ever wanted without knowing I ever needed it. There's no greater peace and clarity that speaks to my heart then the simple truths the gospel brings.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to be the best Lexie I can be. I try to honor the covenants I've made with my Father every day. I understand what it takes to be a disciple of Jesus Christ and know that term is not said lightly. I'm devoted to my Father in Heaven and my Savior, Jesus Christ because I simply love them and couldn't imagine my life without the saving power of the Atonement. I'm forever indebted, and love Them so much. When you love your faith so much I think it's just second nature to live it.
