Hi I'm Grayson

I grew up in South Carolina. I am a missionary in the Japan, Sapporo Mission and I love serving others. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born in Logan, Utah but my family moved out to Beaufort, South Carolina when I was five months old. I have loved living out there, and I am am now serving a mission in Sapporo Japan. I plan to attend Brigham Young University after serving my mission in Japan.

Why I am a Mormon

I have grown up as a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, and I never questioned whether it was true or not. I trusted my parents and loved going to church. As I grew up, I found the desire to know for myself that it was true. I knew it had to be, but I wanted to know for sure. I knelt down one day and prayed after reading my scriptures one night. The spirit was so strong as I read my scriptures, and after I prayed the spirit testified to me of the truthfullness of the gospel. I am still young, and I know my testimony has a lot of room for improvement. I will continue to work on it as I grow, learn, and serve. I testify of the truthfullness of the gospel of Jesus Christ. God lives and loves us. His Son, Jesus Christ, atoned for our sins that we may live in the presence of our Heavenly Father again. Joseph Smith really saw God the Father and Jesus Christ, and restored the fulllness of the gospel upon the earth. I know that we have living prophets and apostles upon the earth to lead us and guide us in the right direction as we live in such tumultuous times. Last but definitely not least, I testify of the truthfullness of the Book of Mormon. It is truly scripture, and another testament of Jesus Christ. I love it with all my heart. It is the keystone of our religion. This gospel means the world to me. I invite you to take the time to read the Book of Mormon, and pray about it. You can know the truthfullness of it as well.

How I live my faith

Outside of striving my best daily to come unto Christ, I serve as in my ward as best I can and try to help others. I try to help out when I am called upon, and even when I am not. I currently am serving a mission in Sapporo Japan where I have an opportunity to help others receive this glorious gospel and invite them to come unto Christ. Having the opportunity to serve others on a daily basis is such a blessing. I strive to be the person Christ would have me be, and I want others to experience the joy I have when I do that.
