Hi I'm Mormon

I've been in the Air Force, and now a full time missionary for the LDS chruch, I'm 19 years old and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am 19 year old and am now serving the church as a full time missionary in the Japan Fukuoka Misson. I came here after a year at the United States Air Force Academy. I love being a missionary!

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the LDS church as is probably apparent from my name. However even with that rearing I had to discover for myself if this gospel that I was surrounded by is actually true. I didn't just accept it because my parents and friends told me I should I decided I needed to know for myself. I studied this gospel from the scriptures including the Book of Mormon and all parts of the Bible. I prayed often to know concerning its truth and little by little I discovered through experiences, some miraculous some seemingly ordinary, and by the power of the Holy Ghost or the spirit of God, that his gospel was undoubtedly true. It took some time to discover this and it wasn't all at once. I would gain a testimony of one aspect of the gospel at a time because I always kept my heart open to it I was able to discover its truthfulness. I remain faithful to the gospel because it brings such incredible joy to my life. I have tried living without it, I have tried living strictly by it and everywhere in between and have discovered, time after time, that by living the principle of the gospel you can discover such a marvelous joy that it is incomparable to anything else. In short IT IS WORTH IT!

How I live my faith

I live my faith by doing the best I can to be the best person I can be. The rules and commandments spelled out by the gospel and church aren't restrictions in my eyes but rather the recipe to make the most wonderful life possible. I will soon be going to serve a mission in Japan to share this wonderful thing that I have found with anyone who will listen. I know that when I live according to what I know to be true, I am happy and I never regret it.
