Hi I'm Anna

I'm a student at BYU, preparing to serve a mission in Japan. I love to run. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Eugene, Oregon with my parents and two brothers. I was in a French immersion program from preschool to high school, so I am now bilingual, soon to be trilingual! I love being outside when the sun shines, running or wakeboarding or just laying on the grass. I love animals, I'm a vegetarian, and I'm studying dietetics at BYU.

Why I am a Mormon

Nothing brings me greater joy than knowing that I'll be able to live with my family forever, and that every single person I love will have the opportunity to live again after death. Life is hard, and sometimes unbearably sad, but the best way to get through trials is to take comfort in the fact that everything WILL get better. Knowing that I have a loving Heavenly Father who has an eternal plan for me gives me so much peace of mind, and I want everyone to be able to feel this same comfort. God knows each of us, He loves us, and He knows our potential better than we do.

How I live my faith

I had the opportunity while at BYU to serve in the presidency over the girls in my church. This responsibility let me really get to know all of the girls and I made some great friends. Recently, I received a mission call to Tokyo, Japan! I've been spending lots of time preparing to be a missionary by studying the scriptures and reflecting on my own testimony and how to best teach others what I know.
