Hi I'm Duncan

Winter born, desert raised. I love my family and friends. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born in 1994 in Richland, Washington. I've lived there, California and Arizona. I am the baby of my family. I have an older brother, three older sisters and five awesome nephews. I love my family so much, they mean everything to me. We are pretty close and enjoy to play games together and tease our parents. I love all sports and I've participated in almost all that were offered to me as a kid. I love music as well, though I can't sing or play instruments, I jam out in the car and shower. I graduated from Deer Valley High School in 2012 and attended some college at Glendale Community College doing the EMT program. I am serving a full-time mission for the church of Jesus Christ of latter-day saints in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. I love it here in Oklahoma and I love all the people.

Why I am a Mormon

My mother is a convert to the church. she was baptized when she was 18 years old. No one else in her family is Mormon. My father has a long line that goes back to people that were with Joseph Smith when he was a prophet. I choose to continue in this church because it makes the most sense. My family is very important to me and I believe it is just as important to God. I know that this church is true. I live it with my family and friends every day, and I LOVE IT!

How I live my faith

I was the leader of the youth my age for about 4 years. I had some of the youth be my advisors and we would meet up to plan activities, camping trips, and service projects. I have read the Book of Mormon and i have a testimony that i know it is true, which leads to the knowledge that Joseph Smith was a Prophet called of God, and Jesus Christ is our Savior.

How can I know Mormonism is true?

There is only two things to do if you sincerely want to know if Mormonism is true. Read the Book of Mormon cover to cover and kneel down in prayer and ask heavenly father if it is true. your answer may not come immediately and probably wont be an angel appearing to you and telling you it is true. You will feel a confirmation of the Holy Ghost that it is true. It might be a sudden warmth in your chest or, for me, it is a total calmness. I hope this has helped! Show more Show less
