Hi I'm Carrie

I am a college graduate, a sister missionary and a peace maker. I am a Mormon!

About Me

I have received my Business Management degree and I now look forward to serve as a sister missionary in the Denver, Colorado South mission. I have followed the example my mother and grandparents have set for me, which is to love the Lord, work hard, and serve others. Living in the country I have learned to appreciate the simple things in life and to take advantage of every opportunity life has to offer. Family and friends are so important to me because I have found that if we truly want to be happy, we should love others and maintain relationships that will help us grow as individuals.

Why I am a Mormon

I have always believed that the church was true, but it wasn't until high school that I absolutely, knew the church was true. I searched for myself and gained a strong personal testimony of my Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. Through scripture study of the Book of Mormon and Bible, through personal prayer and attending my church meetings, I knew with all my heart that my Savior lives and that my Heavenly Father has a plan of happiness for each of his children. By follow the commandments and standards of the church, I am a happier and stronger person. My heart is full of gratitude for the gospel of Jesus Christ because everyone has a second chance to do better. God has given us agency to choose right from wrong and it is through Jesus Christ that we can repent of our sins and become closer to our Heavenly Father. I am a Mormon, I know it, I live it, and I love it!!!

How I live my faith

I feel so blessed to have had the opportunity to earn a college degree and to work with remarkable members in my community. I have learned so much from my church, school, work, and community leaders that I know I will remember for the rest of my life. I have gained skills and knowledge that will help me serve the people of Colorado with stead-fastness, patience, and love. Feeling the love of the people around me and those in my life, I can truly feel my Heavenly Father's love for me and for all of his children. I am excited to serve and bring happiness to others. Financially my life has not always been easy but through hard work and prayer I have come to know how the Lord can bless us if we meet him half way and do our part. The gospel of Jesus Christ is an essential light in my life that is apart of who I am. I am not a perfect person, I make mistakes, but it is through Jesus Christ that I can repent and do better. Life has its challenges but I know if we remain faithful and do what is required of us, we will be blessed and those around us will also be blessed.
