Hi I'm Richard

I'm an Arizona native, moved from San Francisco to Philadelphia and am back home now.

About Me

I am a husband and a father to five wonderful children. My wife and I have 3 older boys and 2 younger girls. My family is the most important thing to me. After family comes my next hobby, work! I am a children's dentist and love what I do. I get to work with kids every day, come home and be with my family and kids; basically, I get to be a big kid all the time!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon for many reason. For me, the teachings just make sense! I want to be with my family forever, not "until death do you part." I believe that revelation still comes today, God helps to guide my life and help me when I'm struggling. The Book of Mormon and the Bible fit together so well to tell the story of a loving Father in Heaven that cares for each one of his children, independent of where they are or even what they have done in the past. He loves us for being His children.

How I live my faith

I am an assistant to the men's president in our church. I help by making sure the families in my area have what they need physically, such as food, clothing, employment and spiritually as well. I help with a lot of families that move into or out of the neighborhood. Saturdays can be busy between soccer and baseball with the kids and helping a new family move into their new home.

What do Mormons believe about family?

Richard
Family is an integral part of Mormon life. We love our families and know that we can be with them forever. Because of this love and knowing we can be together after death we work hard to have strong families. In the family we can learn more about God, Jesus and their plan for us to follow their example. It allows us a place to learn, grown and make mistakes without the fear of being laughed at. A family works together to help everyone be better. Show more Show less
