Hi I'm Charlie "Aleman" Roman

Born and raised in a non-LDS family and I have never been more supported.

About Me

I absolutely love the beach and the perfect combination it makes with the sand and the sun. Anywhere that I can feel the fresh and beautiful sunshine you can find me. I love to learn and teach about any knowledge I do have to help others succeed. I am a communications major with an emphasis in public relations and am excited to see where that takes me one day.

Why I am a Mormon

In no simpler words can I say that the Church is true. I have been on both sides and was baptized when I was 17, in an area where the word "Mormon" was unheard of. I know with all my heart there is no truer church out there with such perfect organization and help for each and every individual. The Church cares for every member and really wants nothing more but for us all to progress and encourage one another to become more perfect in the sight of the Lord. No other church I have been to was able to provide me with all the answers to questions I had all my life. I know that this is Christ's church and it cannot be led astray, and that's why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

Something I really enjoy about going to one of the Church's schools is the opportunity to always be able to express my faith and beliefs without feeling like the world is going to come down on me. I have been blessed with the opportunity to pray at the start of each class and invite Heavenly Father to further and encourage my learning. From all the years that I have gone to school, none have been so powerful and impacting as they are today. I could truly say that He enhances my knowledge and opens my mind and heart to wonderful things.

How can I find someone to talk with, in person, about the Mormon religion?

Charlie "Aleman" Roman
We always have open arms to any person willing to know more. You can find missionaries in your area or a church and just make friends. You cannot be shy about putting yourself out there. You can also search LDS groups through Facebook and people would be more than willing to talk and help you out with whatever you need. Show more Show less
