Hi I'm Charles

I grew up near Chicago, live now in Pennsylvania. I am Mormon.

About Me

I have come back to the church after a long absence. Enjoying life and my granddaughter. The church has brought my life peace and purpose. That absence was fostered in part, I think, by the death of my wife. We had been married 3 weeks when she died. During my absence I explored many churches, but found something missing form each. The whole of the gospel is contained in the LDS church. On coming back, I was welcomed with open arms and hearts, and made to feel part of a family again. On reflection, I think that one of the reasons Heavenly Father put my first wife into my life was to bring me into the church in the first place. For that I am grateful. Through prayer and adherence to the teaching of my faith I can testify that the church has indeed been restored, and teaches a true and abiding faith and way of life. I can testify that heavenly Father loves me, and the Jesus Christ is my savior. I can testify that I am touched by the Holy Spirit. I can testify that Joseph Smith was a prophet of God. All these things I can testify as true. I look forward to become temple worthy, and being sealed to my wife so that we may spend eternity together.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a mormon because I believe that the church it is true. I believe that this is a church founded to bring forth the true church structure and share the complete gospel. Also, because it is a church founded on love of God and caring for each other. I feel that belonging to the church is being in a family.

How I live my faith

I am getting more involved with home teaching, and adherence to the teachings of the church. Through prayer, fasting, reflection, and study, I am getting to know my church more fully each day. I know that the church is true, that Joseph Smith was a prophet. I sustain our beloved leaders and church beliefs.
