Do you want to chat with a missionary?

We are happy to answer any questions you may have.

Hi I'm Skyler Rigby

I'm from Idaho, I love learning new skills. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day saints. I love to sing and play the guitar. I am into the outdoors and staying fit. I really enjoy hiking, rock climbing, four-wheeling, and shooting bows with my siblings. I also like to build and work on cars, rock-crawlers specifically. I love to sing show tunes, and songs from musicals. Oklahoma, Wicked, Les Miserables, Frank Sinatra, you name it. I am always up for trying something new.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I believe it is the true church. I have read the Book of Mormon and I know it is true. I have listened to the prophet and apostles speak and I testify they speak with power and authority from God. I am not perfect in any sense of the word and I don't pretend to be. But through the gospel I can become better. And through the Atonement of Jesus Christ I can be cleansed from my sins and I can return to live with my Father in Heaven if I follow Christ's teachings, repent of my sins, and strive to be the best I can be. There is an indescribable joy that comes with living the gospel, and an even greater joy when you see those you care about doing the same. I am so grateful for the gospel in my life, I don't know where I would be without it. I know that Christ lives and that he loves me personally. I have read the Book of Mormon and I bear record of its truthfulness. I know the Atonement is real and that it works. This is my testimony and I say this in the name of Jesus Christ amen.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by being a good example and by being a good friend. I also help my dad teach the 12 year-olds in church. A wise man once said, "preach the gospel at all times, and when necessary use words." I try to live my life in a way that reflects the saviors teachings. Now obviously I do use words to preach the gospel, but there are many times when a simple act of service can do more for a person then all the preaching in the world, ...at least to begin with. Giving service shows people you are there to help them because you care, not just because you want a baptism.
