Hi I'm Tanner

I grew up in a United States Air Force home. I'm just the normal type of guy. I love my Family, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love Sports! Sports are a ton of fun and I could talk Sports all day with the biggest of Jocks no matter what the sport is. I love music, doesn't matter the kind and I also play the Piano, but I also have a love for Video games and Pokemon. Yup, I'm pretty weird, but hey! What do ya do? I would always go to my Friends house and we'd play some Battlefield and Call of Duty and Halo till the break of dawn! I am currently serving a mission in the Florida Tallahassee Mission. When I return from my mission I will be attending Brigham Young University-Idaho to get me started in a degree! I have lots of thoughts of what I want to be as a profession and I think I want to be in the medical field somewhere, but I still haven't quite picked one...oh well! Well, that's me pretty much!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because of the peace it brings into my life. Pretty simple I know right? But no where else in the World have I found the peace that I have found in this Faith. We view Faith a little different than most people. We view Faith as an action. "Faith without works is dead" as it reads in the Epistle of James in the KJV of the Bible. I'm also a member of this Church because it follows exactly the organization of Christ's original Church he formed while he was here on the earth.

How I live my faith

I am a missionary currently for our Church and what I do is I dedicate 2 years of my life to sharing the Gospel and our Beliefs with the people I talk to! I have previously served in some of the youth organizations in the Church as a Youth representative for our congregation.

Why don’t Mormons drink coffee, tea, or alcohol? What is the Mormon Church’s law of health and proper diet?

We abstain for these substances because we believe the Lord has commanded it. Throughout Biblical times the Lord has always had his chosen people abstain from certain substances, example: The Hebrews were not to eat certain meats. We believe the Lord has again given us a commandment similar to the one of old! It is a Law of Obedience and we try to live exactly as the Lord would have us do. Show more Show less
