Hi I'm Ryley Guzy

I'm studying Music Therapy at Utah State. I'm going to be serving a mission in California, and I'm a mormon!

About Me

I am nineteen years old and have just finished my first year of college at Utah State University. I am the youngest of five children, and have four crazy older brothers. I've played the violin for nearly fourteen years and I love singing and playing the piano. I'm very competitive and played on my high school soccer and racquetball teams. I love snowboarding and doing anything outside I have incredible friends and family and I believe laughter is the greatest medicine. Like a lot of girls my age, I am preparing to serve and LDS mission and have been called to serve in the California Fresno Spanish speaking mission!

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I believe the Book of Mormon and the teachings there in to be true. I'm a Mormon because the doctrines of the church help me understand why I am on this earth and what my purpose is. I'm a Mormon because I can feel Heavenly Father's love for me when I abide by his commandments. I'm a Mormon because I know Christ atoned for my sins and He has provided a way for me to return to my Heavenly Father. I'm a Mormon because I've learned that families are an eternal unit and that we can be exalted if we do what the Lord asks of us. I'm a Mormon because I feel an undeniable happiness and peace when I testify of the truthfulness of the church and of this Gospel.

How I live my faith

I have had the privilege of being a member of the LDS church for my whole life. The truthfulness of this Gospel and the love I feel from Jesus Christ and my Heavenly Father have truly brought joy into my life. The church provides many opportunities to strengthen the relationships of families, neighbors, and friends-for that reason I know I have a strong support system which makes the difficulties of this life bearable. I try to live my life in a way that corresponds with the teachings of the Book of Mormon and sets me apart from the world
