Hi I'm Aaron Vaughn

I was born in New Mexico and lived in Utah since I was 11. I studied some physics at BYU, but now I`m serving a mission in Japan.

About Me

I've played trumpet for 9 years and love all types of music, jazz, classical, classic rock, and more. I'm studying physics and hope to pursue a career in acoustics. I enjoy playing basketball, Heroscape, and spending time with my friends and family. Currently, I am serving a mission in Nagoya Japan from May 2013 to May 2015.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into an LDS family, but this is not the only reason I'm a Mormon. Though various experiences throughout my life, especially by daily study of the Book of Mormon and prayer, I've gained a testimony of the truthfulness of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I'll be forever grateful for parents who love me enough to have allowed for spiritual opportunities, but ultimately let me learn for myself that this Church is true.

How I live my faith

I attend my church meetings, and participate in various capacities. In college, I helped with genealogy research by converting historic records into an electronic database through a process known as indexing. Currently, I am serving a 2 year full-time mission in Nagoya Japan.
