Hi I'm Caitlin Elizabth Thomas

I live in Utah. I love to read, write, and dance. Glitter is my favorite color and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have grown up in a family with two sisters, a brother, a mom, and a dad. I have been a member of this church for my entire life. I just spent the last two years in college where I was a dancer for the school's drill team, and also a member of many other groups. I was also a member of the newspaper staff and head editor. I love to write and hope to someday become a reporter and share the truth with the world. I just recently graduated and am now preparing to serve a full-time mission. Being that glitter is my favorite color, I try to always live with a positive outlook and encourage everyone to share their "sparkle" with the world.

Why I am a Mormon

I love this Gospel. I have been raised in it, and have loved every minute of it. Of course, I have gone through my own stages of doubt and trial, but the Lord was always there for me and He never left me alone in my struggles. This Gospel brings me so much happiness, it truly is a church full of joy. Never have I experienced truer joy, than when I really developed a personal relationship with my Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. I am a member of this church because I know, and I believe that it is true. I know that with this Gospel I can be with my family forever. I know that I can have true happiness in this lifetime. I know that the Lord will be there for me through all of my hard trials, because he has already suffered for my sins and the sins of the entire world. I love this Gospel, and I want to spend the rest of my life living it, teaching it, and loving it.

How I live my faith

I have spent most of my life being encouraged by my parents to actively live my faith. I do this by trying my hardest to be an example to others of true kindness and love. I know, I am not perfect, and therefore I try to always remember that nobody else is either. Living with this philosophy has really helped me in my personal relationships with those I love. Also, I spent many years as a youth being a leader in different scenarios. I would help plan activities for the youth in my local church area. I was also called to be a mentor for the special needs group in my area. With this calling, I would go once a week and work with my assigned person. Together we would make arts and crafts, read our scriptures, sing songs, and just talk. This calling has been one of my favorites because of how much it taught me. I have never been so humbled in my entire life. These individuals are so unconditionally loving. They have the light of Christ with them always. Now, as a missionary, I am sharing the love of Christ with many others and helping them to come closer to him. I love my Savior and I know he loves me. I am so happy that I have the opportunity to share that love with so many new people.
