Hi I'm Adam Hill

I'm a marathon runner, lover of the outdoors, and a Missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

About Me

I am 22 years old and currently serving as a missionary! I am the oldest of 6 kids and the oldest grandson on both sides of my family; the oldest of 34 grandkids on my dad’s side, and the oldest of 24 on my moms. I love spending time with my family and cousins and taking advantage of the outdoors. Since I can remember my family has taken me out on hikes and doing things outside. Hiking, camping, and swimming have been some of my favorite things to do. When I was 18 I had an opportunity to spend a summer in Coeur d’Alene Idaho camping. During that experience, I started running in the morning to watch the sun come out over the mountain peaks which perked my interest into running marathons. Right now I am serving as a full-time missionary in the state of Kentucky which is exhilarating. I grew up in the church and I always wanted to be a missionary. Sharing with people something that I love which is the Gospel of Jesus Christ is a dream come true. Being a Mormon has helped me so much to understand what life is all about and the plan that my father in heaven has for me. I love having the opportunity to share His plan that He has for all of us with others and to watch their relationship with their Father in Heaven grow. I love to laugh and to make others laugh. Life is too short not too. My name is Elder Hill, I love being a missionary, I love making new friends, and I'm a Mormon.

Why I am a Mormon

Why am I a Mormon? Because living the Gospel of Jesus Christ makes me happy. When I was very young I had a grandfather that I looked up to a lot. I watched him on how he treated his wife, his children and his grandchildren. I would look around and I would see how happy everyone was and I asked myself, "what is it that makes my family so happy and what is it that makes my Grandpa such a great man?" So, though I was raised in the church I started really looking into the gospel and wanting the truth for my myself. Well the more I grew and the more I understood the more I saw how much truth is in the scriptures. I was Baptised when I was 8 and as I became older, I learned more and more on what it means to be a follower of Christ. It means to have to be filled, built, and act upon the principles of love. In short that is why I am a Mormon. Its because it has taughten me how to love like the savior does and it is teaching me how I can be more like him. It has taughten me that not only am I saved by grace, but it has taught me that I can be changed by grace as well. Day by day as I do my best, I can become a better person. A better Son of God.

How I live my faith

The Prophet has shared that, "when we live the gospel, we share it." That is exactly what I am doing in kentucky as a missionary. It is such a great opportunity for me to share what I believe in. Every day I share my testimony with others and help them to draw closer to their Father in Heaven. How greatful I am to watch people change for the better. To watch them become more and more like their savior Jesus Christ. This is how I live my faith.
