Hi I'm Andrew Reeder

I grew up in Utah. I enjoy making friends with others and love to learn at school. I am a Mormon.

About Me

Hi I am Andrew! Nice to meet you! I like to read books, play video games, wright books, play sports like basketball, baseball, soccer also known as football, tennis, Ultimate Frisbee, Golf, hiking, biking, baking, and including those that are sitting on the sidelines. I also like dancing, singing, drama, playing piano, drawing, playing my tenor saxophone, my Native American Ocarinas, and I love to meet new people. I love meeting knew people because I like to be a friend to everyone I meet even if they are not friendly to me. When I go to collage I would like to be a chiropractor. I am single and have a Mission call to New Mexico Farmington Mission. I am to report for the Mission Training Center on July 3, 2013. I am so exited for this calling to serve the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Why I am a Mormon

I like all people on this earth have made mistakes and wrong choices. I was lost in those times, when I felt there was no way out I knelt down on my knees and offered a prayer, a plea for help, I remember saying to my Heavenly Father, "Help me I do not know were to go or what to do." I was in the pit of despair of self doubt, of loneliness, of pain and torment. I received an answer from the Holy Ghost that said and I quote "Read The Book of Mormon and pray to know if it is true. If you do this you will receive the strength the power and the knowledge to overcome your trials and tribulations." It was on that day that I decided to follow the council of the Prophet and read the book and pray to know if it is true. I finished The Book of Mormon and prayed again I did not receive my answer that day though I have heard of many who did. So I prayed every day and read every day to know if the Book of Mormon is true school finished and when I went to an Especially for Youth a song from the program touched my heart. It was a song I heard a lot when I was little that song was 'I am a Child of God'. That primary song that children sang touch my soul and I began to cry happy tears that was my answer to my prayers. I knew than that the Book of Mormon is true. I know that Joseph Smith is a true Prophet of God and I know that he saw God the Father and his Son Jesus Christ I know that the unlearned farm boy Joseph Smith with Christ's help translated the Book of Mormon. I know that he restored Christ's church in these later days. I know that Thomas S. Monson is a prophet of God and leads and guides this church. I know that the Savior loves each one of us and I know that though the atonement of Christ all man kind will be saved if they obey His commandments and follow what He says. I love the gospel and I love this church. I know if you want to change that the Savior will help you. I know you will find peace if you ask in prayer in the name of Jesus Christ Amen.

How I live my faith

I home teach my assigned people and make sure that they are doing good. If not and they are having challenges in there life I am there for them in every way I can be. I also have a calling to make sure that our Church building is clean by vacuuming the floors cleaning off the chock boards, cleaning the Restrooms, clean the windows, and the chapel. I love doing this because it is like cleaning the building for the Savior to be able to come to reside there.

Are Mormons Christians?

Andrew Reeder
We believe that there is a God the Father, Jesus Christ His Son, and the Holy Ghost. We fallow Christ's teachings so we can return to live with Heavenly Father. He is the key stone of our religion and the true head of our church. The Prophets are men who receive devein direction from Jesus Christ for the welfare and well being of the church.
