Hi I'm Rachel Anne

I'm an avid hiker and runner. Love traveling, but despise packing. Dried mangoes are my favorite snack. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up right outside of the Washington D.C. metropolitan area and absolutely love exploring cities and playing tourist. I'm a runner and love to reach new limits of my ability. With five brothers and two eccentric parents-my family is quite loud, supportive, and are a very important part of my life. I have had jobs in retail, child care, food preparation, waitressing, and data research. Currently, I'm serving as a full-time missionary in Trujillo, Peru.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in a mormon family, but there comes a time in life when one must figure it out for oneself. For me, that confirmation came with reading the Book of Mormon and praying to know if it was true. I received my answer and felt so happy. Whenever I read the it, I feel the spirit and am filled with warmth and knowledge. We can pray to talk with God, and He communicates with us through the scriptures. I know that God lives and loves His children dearly. Similar to ancient times-He still calls prophets today to lead and guide His people. I'm grateful for my Heavenly Father and Savior.

How I live my faith

As a missionary, I am trying my best to be an instrument in God's hands. My purpose is to bring people closer and develop faith in the Savior Jesus Christ. This gospel brings me so much joy and I want to share it with others, so that they may understand that there is hope and happiness in this life. However, I cannot teach others what I myself do not understand or believe. I have come to know for myself that this church is true and it has changed my life.

How can I find someone to talk with, in person, about the Mormon religion?
