Hi I'm Hannah

I play water polo. I grew up in California. I go to college in UT. I am serving a mission in Copenhagen, Denmark. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a college student in Utah and I'm from Northern California-- the best place on earth. I love to be with my friends, watch movies, play water polo, and swim! I have an older brother and a little sister and have two amazing parents. I am going to be a missionary for the Church in Copenhagen, Denmark this upcoming summer and I am so excited.

Why I am a Mormon

Why not? It brings me such joy to know that I have a Heavenly Father who loves me and that I am sealed to be with my family for eternity. It also brings me happiness to know that I can be married in the temple for time and all eternity, and that my future family will be a forever family. Living in accordance with the standards set by the church has blessed my life in so many ways. I would not be the same person with out the church.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by talking about my beliefs with others. I work at a restaurant where people often ask what I can or cannot do as a Mormon. My standard reply to these questions is that it is not that I 'can't' do something, but that I chose not to, because it makes me happier. This surprises most of them but I find it so true in my life. The choices I make -though they are influenced by what I have been taught at church- lead to such strong happiness. I know that no matter what, this church makes me more happy than anything else I "can't" do. The hope, truth, love, and charity offered by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is what I feed off of for spiritual growth and happiness.
