Hi I'm Lindsey

I'm from Idaho, I'm a musician and a student. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in a little town in Idaho. My family consists of my 6 brothers 1 sister and my mom and dad. I grew up on a farm/ ranch where we grew alfalfa for hay and raised cattle. Right now I'm a student at BYU-Idaho studying music education. My goal is to be a band teacher someday. I've been engaged a really amazing guy since June 8th 2013 and we're getting married on September 7th! We're both really excited and we even made a paper chain to count down the days.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in a family of members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Later Day Saints. My ancestors where even pioneers that came across the great plains with wagons to settle in Utah. I have really grown up around the church my entire life. Even though i grew up with countless great examples and with amazing people to teach me about the gospel of Jesus Christ, I know for myself that the church is true. I've read the Book of Mormon, I continue to read it and every time I know with out a doubt that it is the most true of any book. I know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints contains the fullness of the gospel. I know that through this gospel and by coming closer to my Heavenly father I can be truly happy. I know that this church provides a way for families to stay together even after death so loved ones really never have to say goodbye. I know that we all have a loving Heavenly Father and that he wants to help us be happy and he's more than willing to help us, as long as we let him. He sent his beloved son, Jesus Christ, to earth to take upon himself the sins of the world so that we have the chance to repent and be made clean. I know that we can repent and be happy, even after we have done wrong. I love my Heavenly Father and I'm so grateful that He has made a way for all of us to return to him and to have eternal happiness.

How I live my faith

I go to church with single college students, so sometimes it's easy for me to forget that everyone needs help. A lot of times college students act very independent and try to make it seem like they don't need extra help from others. I try to live my faith by being a friend to the other girls in my apartment complex and letting them know that I'm willing to help them if they need it.
