Hi I'm Madison Laroux

I'm Madison, I grew up in the South, I'm a Mormon

About Me

I love playing soccer, and any other sport really I love meeting new people and learning their stories I love sharing my faith with others Im finishing up my sophmore year in college One day i will have my degree in Child and Family Studies I love my family

Why I am a Mormon

I am a convert to the church; going strong for about two years now. It was by far the best decision i have ever made in my short twenty years. I had a friend who was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, and naturally i became curious because he was so different than other people i knew. I secretly began reading the Book of Mormon every night, and got all the way to the book of Alma before telling my friend. I prayed to my heavenly Father, asking if this book that i had never known before, was true or not. That next morning i read with a passion i had never had before, i read for about four hours without being able to put the book down, and from then on, with tears in my eyes and a burning in my chest, i knew i would always need this book in my life. Shortly after i finally told my friend; Naturally he was super excited and shortly after i met the missionaries every week, and was baptised on September 10th 2011. This church has brought me more happiness than i could have ever imagined.

How I live my faith

I think its one thing to have faith and another thing to live it. Living my faith is all about trusting in Heavenly Fathers plan for me. I was called as my wards events coordinator and its the most rewarding thing i could be doing right now. I love planning events and watching people grow closer together in fellowship with one another as they grow closer to God.

How can we increase our faith in Jesus Christ?

Madison Laroux
I think the best way to increase faith is to pray and read the scriptures. The desire to follow Heavenly Fathers plan can drive your faith and give you a greater testimony of the atonment and the plan of salvation Show more Show less
