Hi I'm Amy

I love music and being happy. I'm a student at BYU. I'm a full time missionary in Nagoya Japan. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I absolutely LOVE music. I have played the piano for 16 years, done everything with singing, and play the organ. I am an avid golfer and sports fan. I thrive on the outdoors and enjoying the beauty the world has to offer. I'm the oldest of four children and there is nothing I love more than my family! I am a junior in college studying Elementary Education and Psychology.

Why I am a Mormon

Before I had a testimony of Jesus Christ, I was empty and alone. I went through several personal trials growing up with my family. I remember when I first found out, I was devastated and my heart just hurt. That night I prayed like I never had before and I can't explain it, but I just felt peace and love. I knew everything would be okay and that everything would work out. I relied on the strength of my Heavenly Father through those hard times, and He got me through. I know I was blessed with those trials, I appreciate the little things so much more now. I am a Mormon because it bring me happiness, peace, and comfort. There is nothing more wonderful than knowing that GOD LIVES and LOVES ME. Jesus Christ suffered for MY SINS so I can be forgiven, empowered, and redeemed. The Book of Mormon is TRUE and brings me closer to God and teaches me how to be a better person. Find out for yourself what I know!

How I live my faith

I live my faith by being an example to others. I never do anything to compromise my standards. My faith is not something I can take off, it is WHO I AM. I am actively involved in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints! I contribute to my ward by playing the piano and organ and teaching the youth. I am also a full time missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I am leaving behind my family, friends, school, and everything I care about to share something that has brought me more joy than I could ever imagine possible.
