Hi I'm Hyrum

I grew up in a family with 12 kids. I'm passionate about both science and religion. I'm a missionary, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in a large family. There are 12 kids in my family, 5 of whom were adopted from Russia. Our home was always very busy, but I think that because we are all members of the church, it still worked out. I love my family and I'm grateful for all of the opportunities I've been given in life. In high school, I was very involved in the arts. I was very involved in my high school's marching band, playing saxophone for two years, and then directing as drum major during my senior year. I also participated for a year in the BYU Marching Band in college. In high school, I was also very involved in choir. I love singing, and took private voice lessons for two years. Many of my close friends today are because I was involved with the arts, and I am always grateful for the talents I was given and for the impact that music has had on me. My family loves to travel, especially my dad. I've been to 18+ countries including Italy, Vietnam, and Israel. I spent a year studying Physics at Brigham Young University, and am currently spending two years in Taiwan sharing my beliefs. I love music and I play saxophone, clarinet, and piano. I love marching band and was a drum major for my high school.

Why I am a Mormon

I've read the Book of Mormon all the way through, and prayed about it. I received a witness that it was true, and that's what I hold to.

How I live my faith

I am currently serving a proselyting mission in Taiwan.
