Hi I'm Cameron

I was born and raised in Idaho. I'm an independent singer/songwriter. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love this church, but beyond that, my life is literally consumed by music. I play piano, sing in choirs, write my own songs, and perform in concerts across Idaho and Utah. I have dreams of becoming a music star on the big stage one day, but if that doesn't work out, I am also going to college to get a degree in Music Education. If I can't spend my life sharing my music with others by singing on a stage, I want to spend my life instilling the same excitement and love I have for music in others through teaching.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon for many reasons, but the most important one to me is that the Lord has personally shown me that this gospel is true. Despite the fact that I was born and raised in this church, I still went through a period in my life where I had to decide for myself if I truly believed in this gospel or not. Through the power of faith and continuous prayer, I was able to discover for myself that this church is absolutely true. Ever since that time in my life, I have continued to grow and change for the better in this church with a new invigorated passion to grow closer to God every day. I'm a Mormon because God personally showed me this church is true, and He continues to show me this every day. I can't think of anything else other than this gospel that I would rather have in my life today. I am a Mormon. I know it. I live it. I love it.

How I live my faith

The scriptures teach us that faith without works is dead which is why I live my faith by listening and acting upon the words of the Lord. The greatest example of this is found in my willingness to serve a mission. Leaving my home and family for two years to go to New York isn't going to be easy, but I have faith that this is what I need to be doing, and I have faith that the Lord will help me every step of the way.
