Hi I'm Jett

I grew up in Idaho on a farm, I like sports, I'm a Mormon

About Me

i grew up in Idaho and lived there my whole life. I have 4 brothers and 1 sister and I'm the youngest. I have lots of nieces and nephews as well. Growing up I learned a lot from my dad and brothers about work and responsibility. I have great parents that taught me to choose the right. I love living on a farm, I also love to play and watch football. All throughout my childhood I played football and wrestled, participating in these activities taught me self will and determination. I also love to be outside and doing something, like hunting, fishing and all that good stuff. I love to laugh and make other people laugh as well.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised a Mormon. I relied on my parents and siblings testimony for a long time. You can say I was just going through the motions. I never really had a testimony growing up, I didn't really care to have one during my teenage years. I felt as if I could do everything on my own and that it was by my own strength that I was able to achieve so much. Then after high school it was time for me to grow up and to start making my own choices. I needed to find out what I needed to do. That's when I decided to pray and ask God for guidance. Before all this I really never prayed personally to God about personal matters. We prayed as a family but I always saw that as a chore. Well I started to pray and ask God what I needed to do, well I guess he answered my prayer through my dad cause he started to encourage my to read the Book of Mormon. Overtime I gained a desire to read and pray about the Book of Mormon. I received an answer from God that it was scripture from God. It took me time to get that answer, it also took me a while to recognize that answer as well. I'm thankful for the prayers that God has answered. I know that the Book of Mormon is God's word and that we have a prophet here on the earth today that God guides his church through. The church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is the true church. It is Christ church and I'm glad that I'm apart of it. The Gospel has helped me through rough times and has carried me and made me the man I'm am today. It also is shaping me into the man I'm supposed to be. That's why I'm a Mormon

How I live my faith

I'm a Mormon, so that means I'm a Christian as well. Over time I've come to know that Jesus Christ is the true Son of God and that he died for me and you. He paid the price for my sins, and my mistakes. I struggle each and everyday with temptation and my faults, but I know I have a Savior that in the end has my back and is there to help me be better the next day. I rely on him, I try my best, but I leave the rest to Him. I love my God so I try to be the best example I can and to help out others when they are in need. I love the faith I have and I try to strengthen it each moment get to.
