Hi I'm Cara Dawn C.

I am not ashamed of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. (Romans 1:16)

About Me

I'm putting a nutrition degree on hold and going to serve a mission in the Philippines.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the church, but that does not mean I didn't have to have my own conversion as well. I'm a Mormon because everything the Savior has taught makes sense to me. I have seen more good come out of the church than by any other organization. I know that happiness comes from obeying my Heavenly Father.

How I live my faith

I have been called to serve in the Philippines, so I am preparing for my departure.

Do Mormons only help Mormons?

Cara Dawn C.
We would be a pretty sorry people if we only helped ourselves! We want all to come unto Christ and feel of His love, which is why we send out missionaries to teach. If you are unsure about religion, that is okay, we would love to help you in anyway, with whatever you may need. We love to serve God and all His children. Show more Show less

What is a “testimony” that Mormons speak of?

Cara Dawn C.
A testimony is a divine witness that something is true. It comes from having faith (hope) and acting on it. A testimony comes through action. If you have a doubt whether something is true or good, the best thing to do is put it to the test! If you don't know whether or not God loves you, say a simple prayer and ask Him your self. I know, I testify, that He does, and He will testify it to you. Sometimes He testifies by giving you a feeling of peace, maybe excitement or love, and sometimes He lets you know He loves you by sending someone your way who can help you with a need, or just be a good friend or example.
