Hi I'm Taylor Ann Markus

I grew up in Boise, Idaho. I am an advertiser and graphic designer, and I'm a Mormon

About Me

I am from Boise, Idaho where I was born and raised. I am the oldest of 6 kids. I am studying advertising and graphic design at BYU-Idaho. I love hanging out with friends and family. My dream is to work for an advertising company as a graphic designers, but my biggest dream is to have a family and just be happy.

Why I am a Mormon

I love having the gospel in my life, I know for sure without it I would be lost. There are a lot of sadness in the world, but I know for a fact this gospel is the source of my happiness. I know the truth and that I have a Heavenly Father that loves me very much and some day I will return to him.

How I live my faith

I am the president of the small group of women's organization for my church. I love being there for these ladies, and enjoy getting to know them! They are awesome!

What do Mormons believe about “eternal life?”

Taylor Ann Markus
Just a few months ago I lost my grandpa. I grew up around both set of grandparents, seeing them at least once a week. I had never experienced loss in my life and this took me by surprise. I went 22 years I could see him whenever I wanted, and in a few short hours that was gone. I was so sad, losing someone that close honestly is one of the worst pains in this life. This was a new experience for me learning to cope. I found comfort in Elder Holland's words, "Tears at the passing of good people are the price we pay for love in this world. We realize how precious these people are to us and how precious their lives have been , so its easy to see why they are indeed "precious" in the sight of the Lord. Even as we feel such loss in our lives, how joyful it must be for that person, other loved ones and the Lord Himself to have such a joyful reunion beyond the veil... How grateful we should be, then, when the Lord will say to such an one, "Well done thou good and faithful servant:... enter thou into the joy of thy Lord." It is worth letting them go in order for them to behold that face and hear those words." I am blessed to have such wonderful friends that went to the temple with me. I found the peace there knowing my grandpa had been called back home, and he was in the presence of our Heavenly Father. I believe in eternal life because it would hurt too much knowing I would never see my loved ones again, but I know I will and that gives me joy in this life. Show more Show less
